2025 Vendor Logistics

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions for Vendors Accepted to the Market

  1. Question: What are the market hours?

Answer: The market runs from 3:30-6:00pm from May thru October

  2. Question: What is the address of the market?

Answer: Delvin Farm Store @ 6361 Cox Road, Arrington, TN. We are directly across from the Arrington Vineyards. When using GPS, you may notice that it takes you to the wrong place. Please check the map location before hitting start on your GPS so that you end up in the right spot! See image below:

3. Question: What time do I need to arrive for set up?

Answer: Between 2:00-3:00pm depending on how long it takes you to get set up.

4. Question: Can I arrive early?

Answer: Yes, you can arrive as early as 1:30pm. You may have to wait a few minutes while I mark out the booth spots with paint and set out the name tags but you are welcome to arrive early and set up early once the market is mapped out.

You may also begin selling as soon as you are set up unlike other markets where you have to wait till the market officially opens to begin selling. The Delvin Farm Store opens at 10am so there are customers coming and going all day long. If you are set up and ready to sell by 2:30 or 3:00, you may be able to grab some early sales from the light foot traffic at the store.

5. Question: How do I know where to set up?

Answer: The market manager will be on-site and will show you where to set up. In ideal circumstances you will have a paint stick with your name on it where your booth space is. You can drive right up to your booth space inside the market footprint, unload and then park your car as directed. Here is a rough layout of the site:

6. Question: Where is vendor parking located?

Answer: Please park in this field here, as close as possible to the ditch and as close as possible to the vehicle beside you so that we can fit maximum number of vendors in this space (see image below):

7. What Safety Measures am I Responsible to Uphold?

Answer: As a participant in this market, there are important safety rules in place to protect everyone at the market—customers, children, pets, fellow vendors, and your own business. One of the most essential of these is the requirement to use adequate tent weights.

It’s not enough just to own them or have them sitting in your vehicle, garage, or storage. Tent weights must be properly attached to all four legs of your tent during the entire market. Placing them inside the tent or using them inconsistently does not meet our safety standards.

Additionally, sharing tent weights with an adjacent vendor is not permitted. Each vendor must have their own properly secured weights on all four tent legs.

We consider a minimum of 30 lbs of weight per leg to be sufficient. The weights must be securely fastened to the tent structure—simply placing them at the base of each leg is not enough.

We understand that hauling around heavy tent weights can be a bit tedious—but safety is not the place to cut corners. Tent-related incidents, especially from unexpected wind gusts, are the leading cause of market insurance claims. Even on calm days, weather can shift quickly. A loose or unsecured tent can cause serious injury or property damage in a matter of seconds.

At Arrington, we pride ourselves on being a thoughtful, community-minded market. Being part of this community means doing your part to ensure a safe environment for everyone. That means:

  • Weights on all 4 tent legs

  • Minimum of 30 lbs per leg

  • Weights must be securely attached to the tent frame

  • Each vendor must supply their own weights (no sharing)

  • No exceptions

We will be monitoring tent setups and may ask you to upgrade or adjust your setup if it does not meet these safety standards. Please help us avoid the need for follow-up by arriving prepared and committed to the safety of our shared space.

8. Question: Do I have to wait until 3:30pm to start selling?

Answer: No. You can begin selling as soon as you are set up! The Delvin Farm Store opens at 10am so there are customers arriving all afternoon long. If you are set up and ready to sell by 2:30 or 3:00, you may be able to grab some early sales from the light foot traffic at the store.

9. Question: Roughly, how many people come to the market?

Answer: This is the 2nd year of the market and last year it was hardly advertised and started in July so we are just getting going! We have between 150-200 cars right now that come to the market. If there are 2 people in each car, that’s at least 300+ people attending the market each week. I’m guessing it’s between 350-450 people. As we get repeat happy customers, they tell their friends and it grows from there.

10. Question: Can I help promote the market?

Answer: Yes please! Please post about the market on your social media and be sure to TAG us in your posts so that we can share to our stories. Please share the vendor list with your followers each week and talk about the market when you are out and about with friends.

11. Question: How/when do I pay my booth fee for the markets I attend?

Answer: Please pay your booth fee in cash. It’s a small market and cash is just easier for us this season. At the end of the market we’ll walk around and hand out the “Daily Market Vendor Report” which is what you’ll fill out to report your sales and determine your booth fee.

12. Question: Is the market cancelled if it rains (or if it’s really windy)?

Answer: No. It’s a rain or shine (or wind) market. Afternoon showers during load-in or during the market are common. They are typically short lived. Please ensure your products are all transported in plastic water-proof bins with secure lids. Please ensure you have a way to protect your table and products from rain if there is rain during the market (a large plastic sheet to cover the table and some clamps to secure the plastic to the table work great!).

This is a new market and we are trying to build a place where customers can rely on that we’ll be there rain or shine. Kindly work with us to keep the market open even if a short rainstorm passes. If there is extensive radar indications that the rain will not end before the market ends, the market manager may cancel the market while on-site.

For next season renewal, we’ll take into consideration the vendors who are able to be at a rain or shine market as we need reliable, hearty people to help us build something great!
